Daylight Savings Time
Well, how do you feel after losing an hour? We have officially started Daylight Savings Time and will continue until October 29th. Next year, however, a new federal law is going into effect which will extend Daylight Savings Time by about four weeks; It will be observed from the second Sunday in March until the first Sunday in November.
Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa are the only places in the United States that do not observe Daylight Savings Time. If you've spent any time in the sweltering sun in those regions, you understand why they don't need another hour of sunlight. :)

Hey My Father-in-law just bought that exact same clock/thermometer you have pictured! He is obsessed with those clocks that are intuned with the national one.
