Book review: Gossamer
I just finished reading Gossamer by Lowis Lowry.
This story, for grades 4 - 7, probes at the mystery of where dreams come from. The main characters bestow dreams on an angry boy, a lonely woman, and a regretful mother. Amazon gives the book five stars, and I would agree. It's not quite as gripping as The Giver or The Messenger, but it's a very touching tale that will keep you turning the pages. As a bonus, the font is large so you can read in bed once your contacts are out, and the chapters are short (a personal favorite)!
You can purchase the book at Amazon.com and read the full review from School Library Journal
so you don't have to take my word for it...
